Quality

Product quality from China has been dramatically improved over the last ten years. CNC machines have been widely used to produce high tolerance parts. Top 500 world manufacturers have established over 3000 factories in China. US companies imported five times more electric machinery and electronics, which range from airplane tails, fully assembled auto engines to computers, iPods and Xbox game consoles, than apparel and plastics combined. In 2006, US imported $73 billion of Advanced Technology Products from China, which account for 24% of entire imports.

We understand how critical quality is. Without qualified products deliver to your door, you can’t realize any cost savings. We visit these factories, talk to their management as well as project manager and floor workers, view their existing products, check their equipment, watch their manufacturing process, inspect samples, evaluate their quality control systems, place trial production order, and finally regular purchase orders.
You will examine samples and product and/or tooling design drawings before factories start production. We will also help you implement any quality control system in supplier factories. Our survey includes, wherever applicable,

  • Business Alignment
  • Leadership and Continuous Improvement
  • Technical Capabilities
  • Long Term Viability
  • Quality Performance
  • Business Infrastructure
  • Materials Management and Logistics
  • Market and Competitive Situation
  • 2nd-tier Supplier Management
  • Assembly
  • Lean Production
  • EHS Walkthrough
  • Production Capacities

Factories will perform corrective actions to prevent defects, if any, from happening again.
